Air hockey on an unfolded iPhone Duo: red mallet at the bottom, blue at the top, the fold across the middle of the table
A game of Volte-Face on a phone: red and blue pieces on an 8 × 8 board
How it works

One phone, two players

No second device, no Wi-Fi, no account. Just someone sitting across from you.

  1. Lay the phone flat

Between the two of you, on the table, like a tiny game board.

  2. One side each

Each player gets half of the screen. Text and scores turn to face them, so nobody reads upside down.

  3. Play, then rematch

Quick rules are explained before every game. One match, one rematch, and again.

A game of dots and boxes drawn in chalk: red and blue lines between the dots

A Marble Pop duel: one jar of glass marbles per player, one on each side of the screen

Marble Pop New

Real-time duel · 1 or 2 players

One half of the screen each: gather six marbles with the same symbol, and pop! Pebbles rain down on your rival. Plus a Journey through 12 arenas.

A game of Yacht: 3D dice rolling on the tray, between the two players' scorecards

Yacht New

Dice game · 1 or 2 players

Five real 3D dice: shake, throw, keep the good ones. Three rolls per turn, a 12-box scorecard, and the highest total wins.

Foldable screen

Made for iPhone Duo

Unfolded and laid flat, iPhone Duo becomes a real little table: the fold lands right on the center line, and each player gets a whole panel.

  • Big inner screen: more room to play, the table and board fill the whole display.
  • The fold in the middle: it splits the two sides, like the center line of a real table.
  • Outer screen: folded, the app fits the small screen too.
  • Auto pause: fold, unfold or turn the phone and the game waits for everyone to get back in place.

No iPhone Duo? On any other iPhone, on iPad and on Android, just set the device down between you.
