Help and frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know to play Twoble. Can't find your answer? Write to us.

Playing

How do two players play on one phone?

Lay the phone flat between you, face to face. Each player uses their half of the screen: Red at the bottom, Blue at the top. Text and scores turn to face each player.

How do I play solo against the AI?

Tap a game on the home screen, pick Easy AI, Medium AI or Hard AI under Opponent, then tap Play.

Where are the rules?

On each game's screen, tap Rules. A two-voice comic, “How to play”, tells them too. For two of the games, they're also explained here: Air Hockey rules and Volte-Face rules.

How do I keep track of each player's scores?

Create a profile for each player, with a name and an avatar. Twoble counts their wins, losses and head-to-head records, keeps an Elo leaderboard and a podium, and awards them badges. Everything stays on the phone, with no account. You can link a profile to Game Center (iPhone and iPad) or Google Play Games (Android) to find its badges there as achievements (optional).

How do I pause or quit?

Tap the pause button (two bars). You can resume, restart the match or quit the game. At the end, choose Rematch, Change options or Back to games.

iPhone Duo and foldables

How do I use Twoble on iPhone Duo?

Unfold your iPhone Duo and lay it flat between you: the fold becomes the center line and each player gets their own panel. Folded, the app also works on the outer screen.

The game pauses by itself

That's on purpose: when you fold, unfold or turn the phone, the game pauses so everyone can get back in place. Tap Resume.

What about Android foldables?

Same idea: unfold it, lay it flat, and the fold splits the two sides.

Sound and display

I can't hear any sound

Check your phone's volume, then the Music, Ambience and Effects sliders in the app's Settings (the gear on the home screen).

How do I change the music or the table design?

Open Settings from the home screen or a game's screen. You'll find the game's sound theme (you can listen to each one) and, for Air Hockey, the table's visual theme.

Light or dark mode?

In Settings › Appearance: Auto follows your phone, or choose Light or Dark.

The app isn't in my language

Twoble follows your phone's language and comes in 14 languages. If yours isn't one of them, the app shows in English.

Account, data and price

Do I need an account?

No. There are no accounts: open the app and play.

Do I need the internet?

No. The app works completely offline.

My settings are gone

Settings (appearance, volumes, game options), profiles, gold nuggets and badges are stored only on your phone. Uninstalling the app deletes them, and they don't carry over to other devices.

Is the app free?

Yes, Twoble is free and has no ads.

What data is collected?

None on our side. Only Game Center (Apple) and Google Play Games (Google) receive a profile's achievements if you link it. See the privacy policy.
